When I checked my e-mails this morning, I saw that I had one from Kalisha. She quite often e-mails me a picture of something she has seen on E-bay or an idea she has. I guess ir is her way of avoiding my comments about something; at least for a little while.
She has always had her own version of spelling something. If she doesn't know how to spell it, she picks out the predominant sounds and puts her own version together. Sort of like texting, only Kalisha has been doing it before anyone was texting.
Her intended message was: "I was checking my business account" (she is an Avon representative). Obviously, she didn't know how to spell business. What she wrote was: " I was checking my bossiness account."
When she asked why I was laughing so hard, I explained that of all the people I know, she probably is one that doesn't have a bossiness account. Now my 9-year-old granddaughter has a bossiness account that is overflowing and quite often, she makes withdrawals and spreads some of her bossiness around!
I think I will use the concept of a "bossiness account" as the subject of a devotion that I am writing.
Think about it. Don't you know someone who definitely has a bossiness account????
too funny .
